The Coming Of Easter

Martha Reilly reports a rabbit sighting
HUMOR | April 3, 2015

Although some students are intimidated by the overwhelming number of squirrels on campus, an even more noticeable creature has recently appeared in South Bend.  Students have reported seeing a white, fluffy rabbit hopping around and handing out candy to strangers.

Sophomore Jelly Bean said that she was sleeping when she heard a knock on the door in the middle of the night.  She cautiously opened the door to find a smiling bunny holding a basket full of treats, including Peeps and chocolate Easter eggs.

“At first, I was so scared that I almost screamed,” Bean said.  “But then I realized that he looked kind of familiar.  I remembered meeting him at the mall almost ten years ago!”

It seems as if the lonely rabbit is searching for companionship, but he will only be here for a few more days.  According to Bean, he will be departing campus this Saturday for a business trip.
