Those pope pictures. BREAKING NEWS: Pope Francis likes babies. But seriously, did you see those joyful pictures of him visiting premature babies in an Italian hospital? If not, what are you doing still reading this? Regardless of religious background, there’s no way you won’t smile at a picture of the Holy Father donning scrubs in order to hold small humans.

This weather. We’re in that absolutely enchanting sliver of time between summer and fall where it’s still warm enough to wear summer attire, but we also aren’t slowly drowning in a pool of our own sweat. Savor it, folks, and keep those jeans, sweaters, and boots locked up for now. Their time will come.

Football. Wow, guys, our football team is looking great! After our 38-3 win over Texas, newbie Kizer’s miracle outing at Virginia, and now that stunning victory over Georgia Tech, bowl season is looking much more exciting! (Edit: I mistakenly looked at the 2015 season’s statistics for this particular cheer, not this year’s, which are sadly quite different. I apologize for any wrongfully lifted spirits).

The first round of exams. For those among you that are more scientifically or mathematically inclined, chances are you have experienced or are experiencing the first round of exams. My friend, you deserve a pat on the back and some dining hall fro-yo. This too shall pass, and hopefully you will too!

The Career Fair. Is there some real-life version of an Instagram filter that will make my résumé look more appealing?

Existential crises. Are you currently deciding what you want to major in? Whether or not you want to study abroad? What you’re going to do this summer? What you’re going to do with your future? What is your purpose? What is the meaning of life? Yeah, me neither.
