The entire Rover staff would like to pause and give our thanks to the senior editors and publisher who will be graduating this May. They have contributed to the Rover in many capacities and we are deeply grateful for their time and commitment. And, as always, they can still write for us as alum!

Evan Holguin: Known for his love of Weird Al, Knights apparel, and obsession with English grammar, all of us will miss our Executive Editor next year. We greatly appreciate Evan’s amazing skills of meticulous editing, planning Rover events (like the end of the year dinner and beginning of the semester breakfasts), and overall promotion of our newspaper. Evan, we will miss your commentary on PLS (the best major), regular “Rover Recommends” articles in which you discuss your favorite books, and your thoughtful editorials. And as your coffee mug proclaims, you always wanted us to know: “I’m silently correcting your grammar.”

Michael Singleton: You’ve been our publisher/business guy for two years and a month…and you’ve stayed true to the Rover this entire time! Thank you, Michael, for ensuring our paper is distributed far and wide across campus, and for handling the finances so expertly. Without you, the Rover wouldn’t have any presence on campus. We wish you the best in your future endeavors.

Lacey Silvestri: You’ll be missed as our humor editor. We really appreciated your funny articles throughout the year. Your articles resounded with us in profound ways, namely helping us see our lives as students in a more light-hearted perspective (despite what obstacles come our way, like perpetual winter). Thank you for making us laugh!
