In a startling turn of events, the Irish Rover investigative team has found a man living in the DVD section of Notre Dame’s Hesburgh Library. An exclusive, one-on-one interview with the man, known simply as “Dave,” has revealed much about his reclusive life.

“I came here in early 2011,” said Dave. “I kept thinking surely someone would make me leave, or just see my tent and ask what I was doing living in a library. But in five years, you are the first person to come to this section.”

In-depth forensic analysis of the dust on many of the DVDs, performed by the Rover team, has corroborated Dave’s story. While this discovery initially shocked Rover reporters, it turns out that Dave’s story is far from unique, or even particularly impressive. Another investigation, conducted last year, discovered a man living in the VHS section of the South Bend library for the past 20 years.
